Worship Service and Time

Sundays at 9:00 a.m. Sunday School and Confirmation classes are following the service.

Bakke Lutheran offers worship services each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. The music is a mix of old traditional hymns and newer choruses. We have an exceptional Organist and try to incorporate at least one song per Sunday for Organ. Our Pastor delivers fresh and relevant messages. The Communion is celebrated on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. If you love Jesus, and call Him your Lord and Savior, we invite you to Communion.

A time for coffee, treats and visiting follows the service. We have an elevator available for navigating the fellowship area downstairs. We have sound acoustic boards in our fellowship area to help those who are hearing impaired to be more comfortable with fellowship.

What to Expect

Our worship services are laid-back, casual and comfortable. It is a come as you are atmosphere! While there is no “dress-code,” people often wonder what to wear when they first visit a church. Men at Bakke Lutheran wear anything from suits to jeans or shorts and polos or t-shirts. Women wear anything from dresses to jeans and dressy blouses or t-shirts. Any given worship service, you’ll find kids and teens wearing anything from dress clothes to athletic wear. Kids and Teens are welcome and encouraged to be in worship with their families.
